This was the first Great Strides event in Federal Way and wrapped up our spring fundraising Tour de Tori. A rookie event in name only, the walk committee was led by Allison's Angels veterans Rich & Deanne Plunkett and Dave & Donna White. The walk was held on the Weyerhaeuser campus and weaved through the Rhododendron and Bonsai Gardens. Our team made off with a big haul from the raffle drawing and everybody had all the ice cream they could eat. When the counting was done, the event raised $66,000.
