This walk was the same day as the Olympia Great Strides, but the Troopers opted for the chance to team up with some of Carol's relatives and the better weather potential. Cousins Del, Jeannette and Jeff Bollinger join us at the walk, so we had a team-record six Spokane Troopers. The walk is a 3-mile course on both sides of the Spokane River that starts and ends at Gonzaga University. When we were done walking we were fed pizza from David's Pizza. The event topped their goal by raising $68,000!
