This was the 3rd Great Strides event in Yakima and the first one of the fundraising season. The 3-mile course on the Greenway started and finished at Sarg Hubbard Park. KFC provided a yummy chicken lunch while Cherry FM 100.9 pounded out the oldies under sunny skies. This year's walk raised an event-record $15,000! Carol's Aunt June and cousin Mikayla joined us for the walk to make it a Trooper quintet.
