Tacoma Great Strides 2002
Held at Point Defiance Park, this event raised $96,000. A four-mile walk for the 500 participants was rewarded with yummy food from the Outback Steakhouse. Our biggest Trooper crowd (13) for Tacoma so far, we were joined by the Feighner family for the first time. The weather was a bit cool and cloudy, but the sun peaked out as the day went on.
The Tacoma Trooper crowd. The Feighners (Dad Frank, Mom Kim, daughter Katie, son Nicholas) joined the regulars to give us a lucky 13. #13 Ruth took the picture.
